Early Learning to Promote Socialization and Good Behavior

1st class Saturday February 18th (humans only no dogs)
Sunday February 19th

Time:
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Class meets for 8 sessions at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital.

Cost is $80.00

For puppies 8-16 weeks of age. All puppies must be current on vaccinations and must receive at least one physical exam and be vaccinated at least one week prior to the first class. Proof of vaccinations must be given.

The goal of the class will be to teach you the basics of training and communication with your puppy through positive reinforcement and redirection. The classes are the beginning steps towards making your puppy a more obedient and enjoyable companion.

Puppy Socialization:
Your puppy will have the opportunity to socialize with other puppies and people, which at this age is key to development.

Owner Education/Puppy Management:
Our emphasis is on educating owners, while providing the dogs with varied, positive, non traumatic experiences.

Basic Behaviors:
Basic behaviors and behavior issues will be addressed as well. The emphasis on teaching these behaviors is to help the owners as they use and practice good management and training techniques.

Equipment Needed:
Buckle Collar

Leash 4' or 6' (nylon/leather)
NO chains or retractable leases

Treats
(chewy, small "bite" size, and yummy)

Bring a water dish if you like.
We provide dishes for dogs to share.
